About Dr Jane Currie

Jane is passionate about the capacity of nurses to improve access to care, particularly for vulnerable populations. Sometimes, all we need is a little inspiration to ensure that we are optimising our practice. Jane has spent all of her career in the field of nursing, initially as a registered nurse and more recently as a nurse practitioner.  On graduating from St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London, Jane specialised in emergency nursing. Her varied and interesting career has encompassed service to the British and Australian Army, including operational deployments to Iraq and Indonesia, clinical nursing positions and academic nursing positions.  Jane has developed Inspiration PRN as a way of sharing her passion for the amazing work that nurses do.
